![]() ![]() I am now stuck with a target folder that I am not. When I realized my mistake, I deleted the namespace server, but the target folder did not delete. I am running into an issue where I was building a new DFS namespace and created the wrong target folder. Interesting feature that is not advertised on their site at all. What I discovered while restoring the sysprepped image is that in HD Clone there is an option called "Adjust Drivers" and the help menu says it is for restoring to different hardware. I can maintain the image with Virtual Box and go through this process as necessary for any major updates. I then restore the image to whichever computer I need to image it to using the HD Clone Live cd. After sysprep runs and completes (I have an Unattend file and a setup complete batch file in the appropriate locations) and the system shuts down, I mount the VHD as a drive on my Windows 7 system and then capture it using HD Clone. I completely set up the machine the way that I want, then I run my sysprep on it (but not before shutting it down and cloning it to have a pre-sysprepped version). I am now maintaining an image in Virtual Box using a VHD as the virtual hard drive format. I own a professional license for HD Clone so I get top speed out of the program. First, let me explain what I am doing that seems to work. I actually discovered something with HD Clone that did not see before that may be what I am looking for. ![]()
